Lake County “Blue Ribbon” Healthcare Committee HealthReach attended and participated in a recent meeting of the Lake County “Blue Ribbon” health care committee sponsored by Illinois State Senator Susan Garrett. At this meeting strategies were discussed regarding the delivery of health care to the medically underserved of Lake County. Next steps include meeting of focus groups of community health care leaders and providers to determine best approach and practices to improve overall access to health care for the medically underserved of our community.
